=== arif-ali_ is now known as arif-ali === jose is now known as v60 === v60 is now known as jose [14:55] So the other day I wasn't able to register the channel for my local LoCo group with it stating: ""[10:51:05] -ChanServ- The #ubuntu namespace is registered to the ubuntu project, so only authorized contacts may register new channels." [14:55] But today it let me register said channel but still mentions this after "The #ubuntu namespace is managed by the ubuntu project." Is it recognizing my host as the same host associated with my ubuntu/member cloak and assuming I'm working in good faith? [16:56] we're in the process of moving stuff [16:57] the namespace was originally closed to prevent landgrab [16:57] it's open now because we're moving stuff [17:02] el: open to anyone or there's somehow a way to determine who is "authorized"? [17:03] we're working on it [17:03] we can't map people from here to there [17:03] the services db didn't go over [17:03] we're starting there from scratch [17:04] have your libera nick on your launchpad page and we'll figure it out eventually [17:04] but some of us are also staff there doing staff things [17:05] understood. I'm by no means asking for expedience. Just inquiry. And if there's anything I can do to help.
