[12:03] <cjwatson> Mikaela: Are you referring to /~/+editircnicknames?  I'm not sure what email you're talking about; from Launchpad's point of view we don't care whether it's your primary account name, it's just a way to advertise how you can best be contacted
[12:04] <cjwatson> Mikaela: If some projects have a specific rule that it needs to be your primary account name for cloak assignment purposes or something, that's on them but not on Launchpad

[12:05] <cjwatson> We do expose the information in a machine-readable form
[12:06] <cjwatson> But from Launchpad's point of view we don't enforce any particular semantics - it's just meant to be a way you can be contacted
