guivercthanks for noticing kgiii & all the testing that made you aware of it too :)02:08
kgiii@guiverc, no problem and I should have some free time now that the holiday is over. I'll continue to squat on the name until I'm told what to do with it. I don't mind registering it and holding onto it, if that's the easiest route to take. I can do that and then drop the nick when the issue is resolved, or just hold onto it - 'cause it's not like I'm going anywhere. I think most IRC servers want you to login to the nick every 30 or 02:11
kgiii90 days or they automatically drop it. I could look that up and adjust/schedule it.02:11
guiverckc2bez spoke to kryten ^ (I used kryten to avoid ping) then asked on #ubuntu-irc but no response yet.02:18
guiverckgiii ^02:18
* guiverc maybe should have used Dan too; avoid both pings..02:18
kgiiiLOL Well, if we're awake they should be awake too! 02:19
guiverc:)02:20
kgiiiI've got it squatted on until the power goes out or that box needs a reboot. So, nobody else can take it until I let it go. Once I know who that is, I'll simply log off with that instance of chat and they can do whatever they need to.02:20
kgiiiAnd, as I mentioned, I can always register it and then drop it when the responsible person shows up. But, it should be fine just sitting there for the duration.02:21
lubuntuSee? I am @lubuntu! It's probably best that one of us noticed this first.02:22
guivercfor sure... 02:23
kgiiiI normally don't test chat that long. I open it, make sure it connects, and disconnect. I decided I'd wait and make sure it was connecting to the right server. That's when I noticed my username didn't switch to a guest nick. Ah well... I'm off to sleep soon, so I'll check to see if there are any directions for me in the early afternoon tomorrow.02:28
lubot[telegram] <AB...😍> Does linuxfx/windowsfx have 32bit version18:10
lubot[telegram] <kc2bez> Not sure. This is the Lubuntu Development channel and we do not have a 32 bit version. 32 bit is rare these days. Debian might have the best support. Good luck. (re @AB...😍: Does linuxfx/windowsfx have 32bit version)18:10
lubot[telegram] <AB...😍> Thanks:)18:10
lubot[telegram] <teward001> right-o so FYI everyone the lubuntu.me site may be down here and there - we're working on upgrades and backups.  Just an FYI to all.18:10
lubot[telegram] <teward001> AB...😍 Debian's going to be your best bet.  Lubuntu has no 32-bit versions since 18.04.  And no idea about 'linuxfx' or 'windowsfx' because neither are Ubuntu ;)18:10
lubot[telegram] <kc2bez> 👍 (re @teward001: right-o so FYI everyone the lubuntu.me site may be down here and there - we're working on upgrades and backups.  Just an FYI to all.)18:10
lubot[telegram] <AB...😍> Yah I'm using lubuntu ri8 now (re @teward001: AB...😍 Debian's going to be your best bet.  Lubuntu has no 32-bit versions since 18.04.  And no idea about 'linuxfx' or 'windowsfx' because neither are Ubuntu or Lubuntu ;))18:11
lubot[telegram] <AB...😍> Is there any linux version which is similar to windows  (should support 32bit)18:11
lubot[telegram] <kc2bez> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If you are using Lubuntu now I would look at Debian LXQt probably.18:11
lubot[telegram] <teward001> Debian will support 32bit, you have a *range* of DEs to choose (LXDE, LXQt are both options) (re @AB...😍: Is there any linux version which is similar to windows  (should support 32bit))18:11
lubot[telegram] <teward001> but it's a little beyond the scope of Lubuntu to suggest any of those18:11
lubot[telegram] <Rodrigo> Hi people, is supposed to work in the current version? : https://matterbridge.lubuntu.me/338df73f/file_2637.jpg18:11
lubot[telegram] <Rodrigo> only 2 options when I right-click : https://matterbridge.lubuntu.me/63b9e0d3/file_2638.jpg18:11
lubot[telegram] <Rodrigo> I must add that I'm using remote desktop (TeamViewer) in case it is relevant18:11
lubot[telegram] <Leokolb> You are on version 20.04 see the manual here https://manual.lubuntu.me/lts/5/5.2/desktop_icons.html (re @Rodrigo: )18:11
lubot[telegram] <Rodrigo> thanks!!!18:11
lubot[telegram] <teward001> 18.04 is out of support fot the Lubuntu components. (re @AB...😍: I think lubuntu 18.04 is lxde right?)18:11
