[15:55] <daftykins> erk just opened the packaging of a little laptop that was shipped down to me by a friend's employee, needs sprucing back up to send out to a different person - really badly packaged though and seems to have had a rough ride
[15:56] <daftykins> also truly nasty inside like they didn't even give it a wipe down before shipping

[16:26] <zxmpi> i remember my boss repairing a compucorp cpm computer in late 80s and afte a few days with a soldering iron got it working again. then cleaned it up and killed it
[16:30] <zxmpi> mind running the hoover in a garage over the mother board and case might have been a smidge more static that it was used to :-P
