[19:12] <dwdwdw> I have tried a couple of times to install parallels tools (xubuntu guest and mac osx host) but it always gives an error message.
[19:25] <tomreyn> dwdwdw: this is a parallels problem. the version you'Re trying to install may not be compatible to your xubuntu release / the kernel version it comes with

[19:26] <tomreyn> it's a parallels problem. ask them.
[19:27] <tomreyn> and make sure that "Parallels Guest Tools version '16.1.2.49151'" is compatible to Ubuntu 21.04 and Linux 5.11
