[21:26] RikMills: ^ === dinu is now known as dinu__ [21:29] Hi [21:31] I am having an issue with my audio, while playing videos from firefox (youtube) and audio device selected as HDMI [21:32] still not clear what exactly the issue might be... [21:32] also, which release? [21:32] It does not play the audio [21:33] kubuntu 21.04 [21:33] then you have probably the wrong output selected [21:33] HDMI works fine on my 20.04.... don't have 21.04 [21:34] no. the output is selected correctly. the audio plays fine on the laptop speaker. but when set to HDMI, it does not play on the monitor speakers. [21:34] this happens only with firefox [21:34] elisa plays audio to HDMI without any issues [21:35] maybe you accidentally muted the sound in firefox itself? [21:36] if not then search for a bug report on launchpad [21:36] nope. it is not muted. the volume bars in audio settings show that audio is playing. but no sound output from HDMI speakers [21:37] thanks. I will check the bug reports [21:38] I have also found out now that it plays from firefox if I first play audio from elisa and then start a youtube video in firefox, while elisa is playing [21:38] I have not had this issue before today. Not sure what has changed. [22:30] Mekaneck: not currently === ghostcube_ is now known as ghostcube
