[11:06] Hi [11:07] There is a problem with the Ubuntu Server Guide. [11:08] Hello? [11:45] Kolusion, it may help if you say what the problem is, what specifically you're talking about (url for example) & yes patience is mandatory.. [11:48] Kolusion, the other (likely best choice) is to click on the "Report a bug on this site" bottom left of the page you have issues with, and you can report/describe your issue via github ticket.. [12:05] I purposely have not said what the problem is yet because I needed to demonstrate a problem, but nobody has responded in the way I was expecting so I will say what the problem is: The document for Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS and Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS are both refereed to as Ubuntu Server Guide. Two different documents with the same name! [12:06] It is better to call them Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTD Guide and Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS Guide. [12:07] What draw me to come here though was this problem.. The Ubuntu Server Guide for Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS states "If you find any errors or have suggestions for improvements to pages, please use the link at the bottom ofeach topic titled: “Help improve this document in the forum.”" [12:07] The problem is, there is no such links in the document. [12:07] Furthermore, the document states "Welcome to the Ubuntu Server Guide! This site includes information on using Ubuntu Server for the latestLTS release,Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa). For an offline version as well as versions for previousreleases see below." [12:07] The document is a document, not a site! [12:08] This document is utter garbage. If I improve it along lines I mentioned, and others, is there a very good chance that it will be accepted? [12:10] https://assets.ubuntu.com/v1/f954307f-ubuntu-server-guide.pdf [12:10] Have a look. [12:11] The fuckwit that wrote this document failed to notice it in the very first sentence! [12:14] language please Kolusion [12:15] Yes, as I said, the language in the documentation is all fuckin shit. [12:15] You know what? Fuck Ubuntu. Windows 11 is going to shit all over it, as has every other MS OS. [12:15] the PDF can be read via HTML page too
