(re @IrcsomeBot: what do you mean with "I can't see the filenames" ? in Dolphin? in Konsole?) [11:26] squares mean in most cases, that your font does not have glyphs for a certain (Unicode) codepoint ; you could first try to configure Dolphin to use another font, such as Noto (which is an abbreviation for "No Tofu" (those squares)), which has glyphs for almost every codepoint [11:28] in case this is NOT about a simple representation issue on your screen, but a character encoding issue, yes, then it might be required to configure samba in some way, so it knows to expect CP-1251 and silently convert to UTF-8 for example [12:04] Hi all === akila is now known as dcv [12:40] how to setup kdevelop for python programming [12:44] dcv, ask in #kubuntu-devel chat, it might take a while to get an answer though [15:11] Any reason while the fringerprint module would hand SSDM? === le is now known as Guest2052 === Guest2052 is now known as __bluebell__ === le is now known as Guest5000 === Guest5000 is now known as __bluebell__ === genii-core is now known as genii === Iamthehuman is now known as Iamthehuman1 === sam__ is now known as Guest4365 === genii is now known as genii-core [23:45] 4V00 [23:45] 4VO0 [23:45] Hi. [23:45] Hi Rik, thanks for responding. libqt5gui5 is installed and NOT libqt5gui5-gles according to Muon. [23:45] I don't know then. The symptoms sounded like you had hit the bug I know about which is fixed by that. In Var logs there is Unattended-upgrades, dist-upgrade with many files. I am not too sure which one I need to find. [23:51] Scrooling through the Muon list there is like a few hundred files removed! 😐 Can backports be disabled? Will this re-install the regular Hirsute files and updating? [23:52] Scrolling through the Muon list there is like a few hundred files removed! 😐 Can backports be disabled? Will this re-install the regular Hirsute files after updating? [23:53] This won't have anything directly to do with backports, as all the dependency for that exist in hirsute. The reason for removal was likely something else that was coincidental with the upgrade.
