Guest76does anyone know how i take the xubuntu thing off a computer00:05
Guest18does anyone know how to take the xubuntu thing off a chromebook00:09
guivercyou don't need any special tools to remove xubuntu; you just install over it00:09
Guest18how do i do that00:14
guivercyou can boot whatever other OS you have on your box; ensure it has ownership of the boot process then delete the partition previously used by xubuntu.  Xubuntu ISOs also provide tools to remove partitions (download from https://xubuntu.org/download) allowing you to delete; but ensure the other OS owns the boot process first or you risk the system not booting00:16
guivercIf you didn't use a Xubuntu install process; you'll have to check with whatever process you used to install Xubuntu; which provides support for only some architectures00:17
Guest18ok thankyou ill try to do that00:17
Guest18what is a boot proccess i could download00:47

dreamonhello. "systemctl suspend" only logs out, so I can login again. but no suspend happens19:54
diogenes_dreamon, it's systemd not Xubuntu.19:56
dreamondiogenes_, how can I debug?19:57
diogenes_dreamon, for suspend do: xfce4-session-logout --suspend19:57
dreamondiogenes_, dont work. its a little bit differnt. seeing wallpaper. Pressing strg+alt+f1 and strg+alt+f7 shows login.. but same behavior it dont supsends.20:01
dreamonI use a thinkpad notebook it went to repair. and used hdd images on a hp notebook. there I installed a hwe kernel and a nvidia driver. and my supend got lost.20:03
dreamonnow I have my thinkpad back and, remove hwe stack kernel. but suspend not works anymore.20:04
diogenes_dreamon, try this:20:04
diogenes_!acpi_osi20:04
ubottuIf your system is unstable or power management does not work well and logs show ACPI issues, you can try to make the Linux kernel pretend it was Windows during boot (which can help on hardware which was only tested with Windows): http://iam.tj/prototype/enhancements/Windows-acpi_osi.html20:04
dreamondiogenes_, no luck. but one thin -> pm-suspend works .. but it dont locks screen at wakeup20:34
