hggdhfolks, why there is no source xref on kernel modules on a crash's bt -l? Kernel 5.4.0-(1040|1051), at least. I get the source file and line numbers for the kernel itself, but nothing on cifs (our issue)18:14
hggdhperhaps a different symbols package for kernel modules? But I cannot easily find it18:15
hggdhfor example: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/YgZWHhFKMH/18:19
hggdhsee frames #11 and 1218:20
thismachineDoes anyone know where I can find an updated list of patches that are applied to Ubuntu's kernels? There used to be one at https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/vXXX/SOURCES where XXX is the kernel version, but that's 404ing now. I had a build script that depended on it.19:34
gpiccolihggdh, are you loading the cifs.ko with dbg syms ?19:36
gpiccolineed to load it on crash tool, with mod -S19:36

hggdhno, this is for a customer's issue -- the 5.4.0 kernel seems to be missing some patches for CIFS -- on reconnect, if the list of servers is empty, the kernel dies on a unable to handle page fault for address F*8 (all Fs, last digit is 8)19:47
hggdhyou folks should be receiving, shortly, a ping from us19:47
gpiccolicool!19:48
gpiccolifeel free to open a launchpad with the sanitized details, we can start look..19:48
hggdhack, will check internally if I can19:49
