schopinslyon: tangentially to my work on default routes, I've stumbled across some C correctness issues. I've split them into their own PRs, I hope you don't mind the noise?10:32
slyonschopin: Thanks, that's much appreciated! I'll do the review probably later this week11:16
schopinI notice that routing tables in netplan are (as far as the documentation is concerned) supposed to be identified via their table index. iproute2 allows the definition of name mappings, which is quite useful when dealing with complex routing policies. Do you think it might be a feature we'd be interested in? AFAICT nm doesn't have anything like it but networkd does, via definitions in17:06
schopinnetworkd.conf.17:06
slyonschopin: yes that would be an useful feature in my opinion. I'm not sure if we already have a LP "wishlist" bug/roadmap item for that.. that routing table schema is quite new IIRC and the name mappings were not part of that PR 17:41
