[12:54] <tomreyn> akselmo: bundabarg's "I'll put together a patchfile and post to alsadev for comments" and "get a couple of people to test and confirm if it works for them" should probably happen, then have it merged upstream (kernel.org), then file a bug against ubuntu's "linux" (or "alsa"?) and ask for backports, if needed.
