[01:56] Hello everyone. I have installed latest apache2, mysql and php on my computer. Then i installed phpmyadmin. when i run localhost/phpmyadmin, the source code displays. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance. [02:01] You probably don't have Apache set to use the PHP interpreter for .php files [02:01] But that isn't a Kubuntu question, so you may have better luck in #ubuntu or #apache [02:05] it is working for all my other PHP files i made though. === ubuntu is now known as Guest1321 === Lord_of_Life_ is now known as Lord_of_Life [06:53] With fresh installation kubuntu 20.10 on Lenovo P52, I get a blank desktop -- no panel, no launcher, no dekstop icons/widgets. Everything seems to work though when launched with KRunner [06:54] Should add that I have wide screen (3440x1440), but its the same issue when running of the laptop screen [06:55] soon: 20.10 is EOL and thus not supported anymore [06:55] support ended in July [06:56] https://fridge.ubuntu.com/2021/07/25/ubuntu-20-10-groovy-gorilla-end-of-life-reached-on-july-22-2021/ [06:56] or https://kubuntu.org/news/kubuntu-20-10-groovy-gorilla-reaches-end-of-life/ for kubuntu [06:57] Sorry my bad -- its actually 21.04 [06:57] hirsuite hippo [07:00] do you get the feeling that not all your desktop is being displayed on screen? (I'm wondering if a `ubuntu-drivers autoinstall` will help) [07:01] guiver: yeah thats a little difficult to say, but probably yes [07:01] this maybe helpful; see if it is what you're describing - https://askubuntu.com/questions/1333684/taskbar-and-menu-icons-missing-after-update-to-hirsute-hippo-21-4 [07:02] I'll look at the link - thx [08:10] guiverc: you listed a link for me to check out regarding my missing panel/launcher ... can you post it again, please? I was using ubuntu 20.04LTS. will there be any problem in updates or anything else? In future i mean. [12:28] @DPRanjiida, 20.04 is quite stable atm afaik. [12:28] !LTS [12:28] LTS means Long Term Support. LTS versions are supported for 5 years on the desktop and server. The latest LTS version of Ubuntu is !Focal (Focal Fossa 20.04). Ubuntu !flavors may have different support durations, check their release notes for information. [13:44] Is kbacup scriptable? It backs up as a tarball.
