=== bigpod0 is now known as bigpod [05:27] Why is Ubuntu recently using underscores in some usernames like _znc? It's.... Annoying. [05:34] Psi-Jack, all the ones I've seen like that are utility/daemon ids, which almost nobody ever needs to type in, and it sure seems useful not to pollute the namespace. Zelda N. Carson might be unhappy if she couldn't use her initials... [05:35] But.. I do.. cd ~_znc/logs is really annoying. LOL [05:39] Psi-Jack, I would think that's the wrong place for logs entirely (ought to be /var/log/znc) [05:40] Heh, znc logs all chat logs into it's $HOME/moddata/log/ [05:41] And /var/log is for service/system logs, more specifically. === Ps1-Jack is now known as Psi-Jack === jelly-home is now known as jelly [17:44] Hello, is there anyone to help me? [18:22] hi webchat47 [18:23] your previous messages also arrived, just no one had a chance to respond, yet [18:25] i'm not sure whether X forwarding is possible with Chromium. In newer Ubuntu releases, Chromium is a (better confined, but less accessible) snap package. [18:25] you did not discuss which ubuntu version you are using [18:27] maybe the problem is just that you do not have an X server installed. if i understood you right, you have installed ubuntu server in a virtualbox VM, then chromium on this ubuntu server, and are assuming you could somehow access this chromium from the host system or another system. ubuntu server has no X server and no graphical user interface by default. [18:32] tomreyn:you're right I don't have any X server installed, but the browyou're right I don't have any X server installed, but the browser dillo or xezs application works, rather the problem is probably in the snap container as you wrote ser dillo or xezs application works, rather the problem is probably in the snap container as you wrote [18:33] yes, dillo working seems to suggest there is X already [18:34] or X forwarding anyways [18:50] tomreyn" thank you [18:50] bay [18:51] webchat47: you're welcome
