cjwatsonikonia: I'm Launchpad staff rather than a mirror owner; but in general mirroring only some releases is significantly more complex because it requires parsing Packages and Sources files to work out which files from the pool are needed, so typical "full" Ubuntu mirrors take everything from their upstream (so amd64 and i386 for mirrors of archive.ubuntu.com, and the other arches for mirrors of ...15:27
