[18:56] I am workingon a riscv builder that will build stable and devel release [18:56] but I dont know what ubuntu calls its dev branch [19:09] I supposed the closest mapping would be impish (current dev release) would be equivalent to testing and impish with impish-proposed added would be somewhat of an equivalent to sid (effectively uploads prior to britney having run tests + promotion) [19:09] I believe we have symlinks in place for "devel", so you could in theory run a machine with apt entries for "devel" and "devel-proposed" which would always get you the dev release pre-britney (so sid equivalent) [19:10] ok [19:37] I whist that ubuntu had kept working on riscv builder [19:37] but I was told because the beaglev was pulled they stopped [20:07] that's a confusing statement; we're still building riscv64 packages for Ubuntu [20:08] yes but I dont find a builderscript anywhere for building a working img [20:08] unless its just supported by buildroot which I have yet to playwith [20:09] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RISC-V has links to canned images for a couple of boards [20:10] but it's been a few years since I was involved with Ubuntu's image building so IDK how easy it is to do that yourself [20:58] ok [21:59] yeah, from what I've heard, we have at least support for the various SiFive boards. I know we were hoping to add the BeagleV to that list but then they decided to stop production. [22:48] there is a new version same chip [22:48] being made now
