[02:48] Hi [02:48] IRC chat is cool [05:25] Even after clearing clipboard it's still fucking stuck : https://irc-attachments.kde.org/8ad549e6/file_47134.jpg [05:25] https://irc-attachments.kde.org/238de1a5/file_47135.jpg [05:26] ? [05:40] I had to archive it and copy instead >.< [05:41] I noticed it fails to copy files in bulk [06:27] This may also happen when the smartphone sometimes goes into hibernation mode and becomes auto locked === ruimonteiro is now known as atf75 [08:12] I am using the 20.04.2 LTS [08:12] Any one saw the Random change MAC ADRESS ? [08:12] it works [08:21] Yeah it works [12:00] Hi all [14:03] Hello World. === nicholas_ is now known as quaru === itu is now known as Guest2168 === genii-away is now known as genii [16:30] what's the hotkey to access an application's Window menu? [16:31] conventionaly it was Alt+space but that's bringing up a search bar [18:12] it's alt+space in gnome-land === ubuntu is now known as Guest7095 [18:15] TJ-: Alt+F3 seems to work [18:16] genii: yeah; someone pointed me to that in #ubuntu but it's hardly discoverable! And none of the menus on Konsole, for example, have accelerator keys to get to those menus [18:16] Yes, it's somewhat annoying [18:17] not great for accessibility :( [18:21] TJ-: Settings... Configure Konsole ... General tab seems to have a checkbox for enable/disable [18:21] ( menu accelerators functionality) [18:22] Yep, that works [18:23] ( here on my 18.04 anyhow) [18:23] let's see if I can get there with the keyboard! [18:23] got 21.04 Live here right now [18:24] If you mean Konsole's own top-menu, can't see how to get there [18:25] CTRL + Shift + , [18:26] ( for the settings) [18:30] thanks. shame they're so cryptic. Can't see a way to get to the network configuration applet, or other 'taskbar' tools either. Good job there's nmcli and bluetoothctl ! [18:51] Looks like IPv6 is broken, via NetworkManager. resolvectl doesn't show the RA-announced DNS server being added so no name resolution. [19:13] TJ-: I didn't read the whole conversation, you don't have mouse? Just apt install x11vnc; x11vnc -connect nearby-pc-ip, where you have xvnc4viewer -listen running :) [19:45] alkisg: if it had network that might be viable [20:12] Looks like this could be a bug, either kernel or NetworkManager. Enabled NM's TRACE logging for ETHER,IP6,SYSTEMD combined with tcpdump -vvv icmp6 and seeing the RA with 1 router, 2 prefixes, 2 routes, and the RDNSS... NM TRACE shows ndisc for the router, 2 prefixes and 2 routes but doesn't report the RDNSS. Either NM is ignoring it for some reason, or else kernel isn't passing it to userspace [20:12] (which infers kernel misconfiguration) [20:23] OK, turns out that's not the issue - the problem is the router is setting lifetime 0 on that option 25 RDNSS - router is systemd-networkd v247. Turns out even with EmitDNS=yes and DNS=$address DNSLifetimeSec= defaults to 0 unless set specifically. === genii is now known as genii-core === Guest2168 is now known as itu === itu is now known as Guest6671 === Guest6671 is now known as itu
