[17:23] <tomreyn> troozers: i haven't tried this ubuntu version or the firefox snap, but i *think* the chrome-gnome-shell feature is just for managing gnome-shell extensions, not firefox or chromium extensions.

[17:27] <troozers> Sorry, it's for the gnome extensions.  Previous to 21.10 you used to be able to browse to https://extensions.gnome.org via firefox and install those extensions - but not with the snap version of firefox

[17:31] <tomreyn> oh i see. naybe you need to 'connect' the firefox snap to something which it doesn'T have accerss to by default for this to work. i'm just guessing, though.

[17:37] <troozers> lotuspsychje: Just checked, looks like everything is enabled in the permissions apart from "Use any connected joystick", and "Read access to network settings".... this is just a default install of firefox

[17:41] <troozers> It works with Google Chrome, but that's a non-snap install of the software
