[19:08] OvenWerks: Yeah, it's been working pretty much flawlessly. [19:08] Unrelated: Why does ubuntustudio-menu-add need exo-utils? We're basically still seeding an xfce dependency because of it. [21:47] Eickmeyer: Do you have a replacement for the executable called? [21:48] Eickmeyer: or should we just drop it for the kde utility? [22:24] Eickmeyer: we use exo-desktop-item-edit primarily to help people choose an icon for their new menu item. [23:52] OvenWerks: I honestly think we shoould drop it for the KDE utility. [23:53] It abides by XDG. [23:54] That is fine by me [23:55] I don't know if it should stay around for those using gnome or other gtk stuff [23:56] I guess it can be "we recomend kde" [23:56] OvenWerks: If something needs it, it wouuld be listed as a dependency and pulled-in. We only had it because Xfce didn't have a suitable tool. [23:57] gnome doesn't either... but then, it doesn't have a .... much of anything [23:58] True, but if one installs ubuntustudio-menu, I made a little utility that only shows up in GNOME that reorganizes their application dashboard into category folders. :)
