[12:33] <ogra> (heh, i see you already commented there ... i suspect one of the reasons that mozilla asked for the switch to the snap is that distro specific patches can be dropped, the ubuntu links in the package were actually such a distro patch)

[12:36] <ogra> well, if you get them back then probably in a rather different shape and covering more/all possible distros ... they are an upstream project after all and snaps are not ubuntu specific
