[11:02] uhhh... Yakuake just started disappearing if the mouse leaves it. I have "focus follows mouse", but this hasn't been happening before [11:03] I have more specific details: If the mouse moves from Yakuake over a normal window, the Yakuake disappears, if the mouse moves over desktop, it does not disappear. [11:04] this doesn't make much sense, I didn't touch settings except removed a program from autostart recently [11:06] dis is not cool, stuff breaking by itself always gives me the creeps, needs more tripwire [11:07] 'sudo chkrootkit' found nothing, that's always nice [11:08] so ok, back to assuming bonafide accidental negative interaction of software [11:12] Found it: Someone or some thing had removed the tick from the checkbox at 'Yakuake menu -> Keep menu open when it loses focus' ... twasn't me [11:12] actually it just disappeared for a 2nd time just now... readded, will see what happens [20:02] hello anyone there. I have a issue with a mixing static problem [20:08] hello [20:10] I just installed ubuntu studio on a lenovo 5 flex laptop. [20:10] There is a large amount of mixing distortion communing from the jack audio server. [20:10] The card within the alsamixer is recognized as Realtek ALC257 [20:11] ubuntu studio brige is set for pulse out. [20:12] The browser plays audio fine. One particular interest is that the pulse audio volumne has to be set very low for no distortion to occur through programs such as firefox [20:12] Yet tweaking all of the volumne levels for the audio interface does not seem to change the distortion output. [20:13] That is it is distorted even at low volume [20:13] there are two basic controls which appear to operate the volume within the mixer [20:13] master and pga 1 0 master
