[04:53] The link to http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/21.10/beta/ on https://kubuntu.org/news/kubuntu-impish-indri-21-10-beta-released/ seems to be bad? I just get an Apache "Not Found" page. https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/21.10/release/ seems to exist, conversely. [04:55] Ah I see the full release is out now anyways, so I suppose that ship has sailed heh [10:07] good morning everyone [10:08] keithzg: yep [10:09] RikMills and everyone else: FYI I copied yesterday the new frameworks to backports-landing, I would like to copy that to the regular backports soon [10:51] And the backports PPA got me Plasma 5.23 before it landed in Arch Stable. So thanks. [10:57] But if / when things calm down, who is the expert on Word Press formatting. On https://kubuntu.org/getkubuntu/ somehow the 20.10 64-bit download graphic is in the left-hand column for me, and I think the 20.04.3 LTS graphic looks better. But I cannot seem to move it, and now my Word Press editor is showing only bare HTML. [13:34] In response to a problem posted in #kubuntu, I removed -d from the upgrade guide. Is that correct? [13:57] Hi folks [19:54] mparillo: impish is 21.10 [19:54] not 20.10 [20:48] In the news article? https://kubuntu.org/news/kubuntu-21-10-impish-indri-released/ [20:51] I know I corrected something like that some time ago. [20:52] I do not think that was ever in the release notes https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ImpishIndri/ReleaseNotes/Kubuntu or update instructions https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ImpishUpgrades/Kubuntu [21:56] hi again [21:57] I also copied today the apps 21.08.2 to backports-landing [21:57] I plan to copy them to the regular backports PPA tomorrow [21:58] I tested a bit the d-u in some VMs and nobody died because of that :) [22:36] Thank you. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports-landing and Discover noticed I could upgrade. I did so, rebooted and tested Kate, Dolphin, Konsole, and Spectacle, and they all passed the five minute test.
