jcbjoe2021Is it me or is plasma slow? Iā€™m running an i7 fresh install of Ubuntu then installed kubuntu16:32
TJ-Found what appears to be an intermittent off/on bug in touchpad support in 21.10 during the same X session. In the Touchpad settings sometimes the Tapping options show as unavaliable (greyed out) and also Scrolling > Touchpad edges when set works for a while, but at some point that ability is lost. Returning to Settings and toggle the Scrolling option brings it back.16:33
IrcsomeBot<Halis> I had once an issue where the hole system got extremely laggy after a update for a few days, but I it was resolved without me doing anything (re @IrcsomeBot: <jcbjoe2021> Is it me or is plasma slow? Iā€™m running an i7 fresh install of Ubuntu then installed kubuntu)16:34
IrcsomeBot<Halis> Can you see high CPU or RAM usage? (re @IrcsomeBot: <jcbjoe2021> Is it me or is plasma slow? Iā€™m running an i7 fresh install of Ubuntu then installed kubuntu)16:34
Fatal_Sushijcbjoe2021: see my replies in #ubuntu16:54
Fatal_Sushii run Plasma on a Pi 4 and it works fine16:54
jcbjoe2021Ok Fatal_Sushi17:00
Fatal_Sushibesides that, if you installed kubuntu desktop on top of a ubuntu install.... mixing DE's is never a good thing. It can work fine for one, both for another it doesn't.17:02
Fatal_Sushisettle with one DE and distro and go from there17:02
jcbjoe2021Ok17:03
