user|44I'm new to Linux, and I'm looking at the download page for Kubuntu, and It says "Kubuntu 21.10 supported...until July 2022." What happens after this date? Is the OS updated and then supported for another period of time?08:25
IrcsomeBot<Halis> You can upgrade your system then. If you do not want that, you can choose the LTS version, which has longer support (re @IrcsomeBot: <user|44> I'm new to Linux, and I'm looking at the download page for Kubuntu, and It says "Kubuntu 21.10 supported...until July 2022." IrcsomeBot<Halis> *upgrade to a newer release (re @Halis: You can upgrade your system then. If you do not want that, you can choose the LTS version, which has longer support)08:27
IrcsomeBot<Halis> But you need to boot the system first. Either by choosing another kernel or by using a live system over usb (re @gilbertoferreira: Maybe using journalctl something??? I really dont know.)08:28
oerheks21.10 is not LTS, so just 9 months support.08:28
oerheksLTS = 3 years08:29

IrcsomeBot<abdulkhaliqchoudhary> How do I check Radeon GPU usage?09:34
IrcsomeBot<abdulkhaliqchoudhary> KsysGuard is not showing09:40
IrcsomeBot<gilbertoferreira> Sure! (re @Halis: But you need to boot the system first. Either by choosing another kernel or by using a live system over usb)09:56
IrcsomeBot<gilbertoferreira> Ksysguard has been deprecated. You can use new system monitor or install ksysguard with apt or install radeontop (re @abdulkhaliqchoudhary: KsysGuard is not showing)09:57
IrcsomeBot<abdulkhaliqchoudhary> Can you suggest new system monitor name which can show GPU usage (re @gilbertoferreira: Ksysguard has been deprecated. You can use new system monitor or install ksysguard with apt or install radeontop)10:01

ElliriaHey there, if I'm running Kubuntu 21.10 in VirtualBox and it isn't doing the animation for the Fall Apart desktop effect, could that just be because of the virtualized video card that VirtualBox uses or can I expect to not have that animation when I install Kubuntu?18:51
ElliriaOn a side note, that animation works perfectlin in VirtualBox in a Kubuntu 20.04 installation.18:52
ElliriaI'm hoping I won't lose it.18:52
