I have caldav and cardav setup for Korganizer & KAddressbook. If I use the settings Nextcloud account setup, will this double entries and mess things up? [11:19] Well, I actually clicked next and complete the settings setup. It does not have appeared to have done anything! I was hoping when I right clicked a file I could then share it to Nextcloud. It does not work. Looking forward to it! (re @IrcsomeBot: hopefully before the new year) [19:26] I am trying to get my laptop working with my wifi card. Originally the wifi button was grayed out and couldn't be enabled, however, pressing FN plus the "Enable wifi" key will allow me to click the wireless checkbox in the network menu. When I click the tickbox to enable wifi though, it turns gray again. Does anyone know what would cause this behavior? [19:28] owner: The wifi adapter may still be soft-blocked even though the hardware was enabled by key combination [19:28] you can check with the rfkill command it's status [19:32] genii: https://pastebin.com/Jux1kKm8 Here is the result of rfkill, the first one is before pressing the wifi killswitch, the second one is from after pressing the wifi killswitch [19:32] I don't fully understand why everything else comes blocked when I press the switch [19:39] owner: It may require the module ideapad-laptop to be running so that the state of the special keypress can be correctly understood [19:42] owner: Does the output of: lsmod ...show this module loaded? [19:47] Excuse my newbieness but how can I tell if it's loaded? I see it in the list [19:48] If it shows in the list, then yes, it is already loaded and running. [19:48] Okay then yes it is loaded [19:52] The output of the command: sudo lspci -nn ...may be useful to discover what the device itself is, if you can pastebin it for examination [19:53] It may be a known-problemmatic brand like Broadcom [19:53] It is Broadcom [19:58] Can you please post a link to the pastebin results so we can see the details?
