[08:07] Hi, Unit193. A follow-up to my previous question. After upgrading the Whisker Menu to the new version, I noticed that Xfce4 libraries were also bumped to version 4.16, which messed up my window decorations. I had to downgrade because of that, even though the Whisker Menu looks awesome and I loved it. I found these two commits: https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin/-/commits/main?search=horizontal [08:07] Would I be able to stay on version 2.4.3-1, grab the source code, apply just those changes locally and recompile? [08:08] You can pop the two patches into ./debian/patches/ sure. [08:09] Awesome. Thank you. [08:12] I mean I don't know specifically if those were work, but eh. The panel doesn't search in /usr/local/ though so if you just compile it you'll have to set the prefix appropriately. [08:13] Hmm, I see. Gotta keep that in mind. Thanks for the heads up.
