[03:39] I asked about the sound of turning on the computer [04:33] System Settings -> Notifications -> Plasma Workplace .... click the Configure Events.. button. Select sound for login and/or logout events. [10:58] that's great :) [11:07] I have obtained a copy of KUBUNTU 20.04 as a replacement for the 18.04 that I have been using for several years. During the installation I received an error message as follows:- UNRECOVERABLE ERROR. What could this error mean? I am suspicious that that the problem might be connected to the amount of RAM the OS requires. My system only has 5.6 GB of [11:07] usable and KUBUNTU 20.04 requires >8 GB. [11:09] user|90: kubuntu runs fine on 4GB RAM [11:10] it doesn't require 8GB at all [11:11] Is there a way to find out what the quoted error message means [11:16] i'm no expert but only UNRECOVERABLE ERROR is insufficient info to provide any support [11:17] Thanks Maik. That eliminates that doubt. [11:21] intel celeron 1.2 ghz 2 gb ram 320 gb HDD and works also with 21.10 no errors no problem.. [13:34] Hi folks === test is now known as Guest560 [17:22] Hello.
