[09:22] We seem to be having a weird issue with the Go-based ubuntu-image on jammy, filled bug LP: #1955017 - are we understanding the situation correctly? Any ideas on how to get this fixed? [09:22] Bug #1955017: snapd's mkfs.MakeWithContent() uses the host fakeroot instead of the snap-bundled one in ubuntu-image [09:23] Bug #1955017 opened: snapd's mkfs.MakeWithContent() uses the host fakeroot instead of the snap-bundled one in ubuntu-image [09:52] On the autopkgtest cloud lxd worker, my journal is full of Systemd: Started snap.lxd.lxc.*.scope like lines (and stops) [09:52] Like every second or so it starts and stops a scope for lxc [09:52] This is noisy :D [09:53] Each time you start the lxc command you get two journal entries, basically [09:53] oh well, one started [09:54] wondering how that could be made a nicer experience [09:54] journal excerpt: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/Bv8D5pJPZF/ [09:56] what do people think about this? [10:03] juliank: I think you raise a good point, making it less noisy is definitely a worthwhile goal. i have not looked at this at all yet, this comes from systemd directly so we (snapd) cannot fix it diretly, it would be a config on the journald? or is there something I miss? [10:08] mvo: I think so, yes, maybe one could hint to systemd somehow not to log that, i don't know, I asked slyon for systemd side of things as well, just figuring out what people think about this in general [10:19] juliank: yeah, a "hint" to tell systemd to not log it would be ideal indeed [11:43] PR snapd#11179 closed: interfaces/libvirt: suppress apparmor log lines for ptrace denied [13:19] PR snapd#10473 closed: interfaces/builtin: add mount-control interface [13:24] PR snapd#10613 closed: interfaces/builtin/firewall_control: allow ufw accesses <â›” Blocked> [17:24] PR snapd#11181 opened: usersession/userd: support Cloudflare WARP URL scheme [20:05] PR snapd#10908 closed: cmd/snap-failure: use snapd from the snapd snap if core is not present
