[20:43] <davef> It's been eventful. Network went down at one of our APAC datacenters, causing a bunch of our storage to go read-only and VMs to have disk errors. And now I just got paged for a server down, only to find the whole site/cluster is fubar.
[20:44] <penguin42> yeh, network taking out storage is a fairly common way to lose a VM cluster
[20:44] <davef> My favourite one is a server running out of storage, because somebody left a sync & build running over the Christmas weekend.
[20:45] <davef> I've been paged three times for the same server. yey
[20:45] <davef> Anyway.. 11hrs on-call pay and counting.
[20:45] <davef> Plus another 4 on top of that for it being Xmas day
