[01:54] hi all, i'm getting crazy, i just installed xubuntu 20.04 but network manager doesn't show me the profile to connect to wireguard vpn, how should be done? [01:55] The applet for NM didn't support that at the time, frankly it's support now is...terrible. [01:55] I'd just use the wireguard tools. [01:57] thanks JackFrost, i found also a plugin for NM but it gaves me errors on compiling it https://github.com/max-moser/network-manager-wireguard [02:00] another strange thing is that on debian  minimal and xcfce installed by tasksel, the option for wireguard in network manager is present by default without installing nothing while in xcfce of xubuntu isnt present... [02:04] the version in debian is 1.30.0-2 while in xubuntu is 1.22.10 in your opinion upgrading to the lastest build of network manager would be possible to enable that option? [02:06] It's network-manager-gnome that you'd have to upgrade, and like I said it's actually support is...well I'm at least disappointed in it, but perhaps it'd work for others. [02:09] ok thank you so much for your help i'll try :) [07:20] jay-m126 / jay-m1262 / jay-m1262 / jay-m126_ : can you please fix your connection, and join with just one user (unless you really need four? why?) [14:53] Hello everyone! [14:53] I need help with a small matter, please. Could someone tell me how to change the date and time formats on the unlock screen (after exiting the xfce4 screensaver mode). [16:38] Hello Everyone, [16:38] I need help with a small matter. Could someone please tell me how to change the date and time formats on the unlock screen (after exiting the xfce4 screensaver mode)? [16:38] Thank you very much in advance. [16:41] xu-help56w: Repeating it ever yhour makes people rather ignore than help you [16:43] people usually hang out here and look into the chat once a day or so [18:41] I've never chatted on an IRC channel before, so, please forgive me if I somehow do something wrong. [18:47] Question: I'm new to what I am trying to do, only two years with Ubuntu, so I'll have some questions along the way.         I have a desktop with two internal hard drives. One drive contains Windows and the UEFI boot. The other drive contains Ubuntu MATE. I want to remove both current OSes and place Xubuntu OS, and the swap, on the drive [18:47] currently containing Windows and the UEFI boot. The other drive, containing MATE, mounted as "media", will have the \home folder. How do I install the Xubuntu OS on the drive without deleting the UEFI boot? === Janvitus_ is now known as Janvitus
