TheyCallMePaul | I am just wondering how bugs normally go in regards to using dailies of an upcoming release, 22.04 in this case. | 15:12 |

ubottu | Launchpad bug 1957261 in php-apcu (Ubuntu) "PHP modules don't load" [Undecided, Confirmed] | 15:13 |
TheyCallMePaul | As best I can tell, is keeping Nextcloud from working. | 15:13 |
TheyCallMePaul | I'm not suggesting it should be anyone's top priority, I'm just wondering how these things usually go, so I can adjust planning accordingly. | 15:14 |
tomreyn | TheyCallMePaul: this might be better discussed in #ubuntu-next. as you noticed, jammy (to be 22.04) currently has php 8.0 and 8.1 related packages. the 8.0 ones are in the universe section, whereas the 8.1 ones are in main. this probably means that 8.1 / phpapi-20210902 is the primary target for 22.04 and you should concentrate on getting that to work. | 15:58 |
TheyCallMePaul | tomreyn: Thank you, I will go over there. As it happens, a different project installed to the same server doesn't yet support 8.1. | 16:22 |
