tomreyn | i'm trying today's 22.04 canary in virtualbox: 1 GB RAM (as the download page says), 2 CPU cores, 20 MB VRAM, graphics acceleration and nested virtualization off. It takes ~ 5 minutes to boot to desktop, the very most of it is spent looking at a black graphical screen (without a cursor). | 20:51 |
---|---|---|
tomreyn | free -m shows 76 MB RAM available. I guess it would be wise to recommend more like 1,5 or 2 GB RAM for installation. | 20:53 |
tomreyn | (i'm pretty sure the installation will fail this way, because anything i do on the GUI takes minutes.) | 20:54 |
