[12:31] <linuxseeker> hi there. I am almost close to select a linux distro for my business. I'm a data analysis consultant, use mostly web based tools, need R & python, docker & apache superset and - i'm set. I get all that on Linux. What I've decided is that I need a:

[12:31] <linuxseeker>  - KDE, as trying out I see only one where fractional scaling looks crisp
[12:31] <linuxseeker>  - good support.
[12:31] <linuxseeker>  Now, considering ties with SUSE, I'd say openSUSE is good for professionals. Now my question is - would you go Kubuntu in my use case? Thanks.

[12:39] <mparillo> linuxseeker: Since you are here, most of us prefer Kubuntu. My reasons (and it has been some years since I have used openSUSE). First, openSUSE just felt a bit sluggish compared to Kubuntu. Second for finding software, it seemed as if I had to hunt down random collections of RPMs. Third, for tutorials randomly on the Internet, 90% of them seemed to target the *buntus.
