[18:07] <mparillo> I do get a desktop if you skip maybe-ubiquity in the boot line, but once I select my WiFi and click on FireFox, it hangs with the laptop fan spinning. But since it works for you, I can just assume I have some edge case.

[18:14] <mparillo> Yes, the WiFi did connect, and it seemed as if Firefox started to load, but then nothing. I had to hard-power off. I am beginning to expect that this will continue for me until the final version of Plasma 5.24 becomes available on the 8th of February.
