[13:05] Hello everyone! In Arch I can add a user to "uucp" group to allow him use serial ports. However, it seems like there is no such group in Kubuntu. How can I allow someone to use serial connections (/dev/tty*)? [13:10] Nevermind, there is "uucp" group. [13:12] Another question: [13:13] When I "sudo usermod -a -G groupname atraore" and "group" I see no changes. What I am doing wrong? [13:15] Ok, I see, I am just retarded. I was supposed to relogin into account. [13:15] Problem solved. === karl_AFK is now known as karlnashville [13:41] 'morning folks === karlnashville is now known as karl_AFK [15:54] hi [15:54] hi === gabinaz is now known as gabinaz_ === karl_AFK is now known as karlnashville === equipo is now known as equipo_ [22:02] Good evening!  I wonder if someone could help me with a little sizing problem I have with my Kubuntu setup please.  I have an extended monitor layout, laptop at 1366x768 extending into a DVI monitor at 1280x1024. [22:03] The thing is, that windows which I open on the DVI monitor, don't obey the size contraints of the display; instead they spill over onto the laptop monitor. Is there any way I can stop this from happening? [22:07] *for DVI, read VGA. Sorry, I've got the two mixed up. [23:00] ciao
