It is not supported by Ubuntu or Ubuntu Studio, and using its repo is highly discouraged as it can overwrite system and user settings. Support in #kxstudio. [21:14] <OvenWerks> derpey_noise[m]: Cadence is known to conflict with ubuntustudio packages. Also note that cadence is out dated (according to the author). Once cadence has been installed, removing the package is problematic as some changes are left behind in the users home that prevents ubuntustudio audio tools from working correctly.
[21:17] <OvenWerks> derpey_noise[m]: it is ok if cadence does exactly what you want though. but other kxstudio packages are generally ok. In fact we have included some of them like carla.
