[00:27] <valorie> all of ours years ago were killed and eaten by raccoons and opposums

[00:27] <valorie> they have only 7 hens, and in a small movable enclosure
[00:28] <valorie> so far, safe from all the varmints including eagles and hawks
[00:30] <RikMills> omg, it always seems like locations = not the UK have sooooooooooooooo many more predators to worry about than we do!
[00:31] <RikMills> our wildlife must look tame
[00:32] <valorie> we live in what was woods 50 years ago
[00:32] <valorie> and it's still rather woodsy

[00:33] <valorie> we see elk frequently, wild rabbits
[00:33] <valorie> hear coyotes howling in the summer
[00:34] <valorie> although more and more houses are going in; less room for the elk
