[10:25] <guiverc> frost-core,  https://manual.lubuntu.me/stable/D/upgrading.html applies; you just need to use `-d` to the `sudo do-release-upgrade` so the (https://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release-development) file is used instead of normal meta-release file
[10:27] <guiverc> be aware frost-core that jammy is still in alpha; is thus off-topic on many support sites & problems can always occur with development releases (alpha particularly; but even beta)
[10:30] <guiverc> frost-core, be aware that `apt upgrade` (you mention in #ubuntu) can leave some packages behind (if deletes are required) so on occasion you do need `apt full-upgrade`

[11:00] <guiverc> release-upgrades can take a long time (i've had them take 17-18 hours; but depends on a lot of factors inc. bandwidth speed, complexity of install, speed of disks, processor load  etc) so 'upgrade via re-install' (install using existing partition using lubuntu terminology) is far faster
