brycehgood morning15:59
sabaHi. I want to install apticron but use s-nail to deliver the emails externally. This was possible on 16.04, but on 20.04 apticron is dependent of postfix. Do I have to run and configure postfix in order to run apticron? Thats a lot of gear for a very small task16:59
ahasenacksaba: it's probably a dependency on "default-mta", which picks postfix first17:04
ahasenackand mail-transport-agent comes into play as well17:13
sabaahasenack: do you know how to configure the default MTA? I've tried some things but everything goes back to postfix17:15
sabaI have the s-nail configs in ~/.mailrc correctly17:16
rfmsaba, s-nail only "Suggests" mail-transport-agent, try installing s-nail with --no-install-suggests17:22
sabarfm: I can install s-nail without postfix, but it seems like s-nail doesn't provide mail-transport-agent and thus postfix is still required when installing apticron17:26
sabaPerhaps I should look into nullmailer17:26
ahasenackutkarsh2102: hi, I fixed the changelog in https://code.launchpad.net/~ahasenack/ubuntu/+source/haproxy/+git/haproxy/+merge/41614017:26
ahasenacksaba: any one of these should work: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/hQxbpXpJWY/17:27
ahasenackdon't mind the version, I ran that on impish, not focal17:28
utkarsh2102ahasenack: hiya, approved!17:28
sabaahasenack: thanks, I'll go with nullmailer17:29
