[16:57] also looking for a reject on show-in-file-manager because that one is missing a manpage. I have another upload of that which includes a manpage. [22:39] Eickmeyer / ubuntu-archive: if we're going to do this can we do this fairly soon? before the libtbb transition starts entangling in things [23:08] * RAOF has a look. [23:11] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New: rejected show-in-file-manager [source] (jammy-proposed) [1.1.4-0ubuntu1] [23:12] Eickmeyer/mwhudson : Do we have a bug I should reference in the removal message? [23:12] RAOF: I don't (for onetbb and numba), but for show-in-file-manager I have a good version I'll upload right now. [23:15] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New source: show-in-file-manager (jammy-proposed/primary) [1.1.4-0ubuntu1] [23:16] RAOF: LP #1963842 [23:16] Launchpad bug 1963842 in onetbb (Ubuntu) "Too many regressions for Jammy inclusion" [Undecided, New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1963842 [23:18] And show-in-file-manager is a required package to fix a bug in rapid-photo-downloader for Python 3.10 compatibility: #1963694 [23:19] And why are we removing numba? Is onetbb a dependency? [23:22] RAOF: numba depends on onetbb i thnk [23:22] numba build-deps on onetbb [23:23] numba build-deps on onetbb, which includes a newer version of tbb than the old tbb package which still exists. [23:23] looks like the numba build on riscv64 failed because of a missing recent onetbb build [23:24] Basically, the version of numba I uploaded (and you reviewed RAOF) requires onetbb for tbb > 2021.3 [23:24] we were assuming that we'd have to go without numba, because it didn't have python 3.10 support [23:24] the support came in the nev version requiring modern tbb [23:25] 👍️ [23:26] Unfortunately, that newer tbb comes with a *lot* of regressions. [23:29] Enjoy your new lack of modern tbb! [23:30] (Both removed) [23:30] hehehe THanks RAOF! [23:37] RAOF: thanks
