[08:47] <jamesh> seb128: evince uses gvfs metadata to store document settings, so snapped evince cannot read or write the settings

[08:49] <seb128> but that wouldn't those that particular issue?
[08:49] <jamesh> we haven't tried to deal with this in snapd, as most apps don't care (especially if they're using xdg-desktop-portal file dialogs) and granting access to gvfs would effectively bypass any file system restrictions
