HeuchiHi! I have a question about the "mainline kernel" (git://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-kernel-test/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/mainline-crack): Since v5.16.12 and v5.17.rc6 there are no lowlatency packages any more and the files needed to build them seem to have been deleted. Any info on that? Will they be back soon? I hope this is the right place to ask.10:00
flingWhich repo/branch has 5.16?13:12
HeuchiI'm compiling it myself – using this: https://github.com/TuxInvader/focal-mainline-builder13:21
Heuchiv5.15.22 and later have the same problem, according to: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/13:25
HeuchiIt has also been asked here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1397410/where-are-latest-4-16-low-latency-kernel-packages13:35
Jeremy31The mainline kernel builds are produced for debugging purposes and therefore come with no support.13:41
HeuchiI see. Is there maybe another place (IRC channel) where I could ask this? I've an USB audio device which is not nicely supported by the standard kernels of Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS.13:45
Jeremy31Best bet would be a generic linux channel13:48
HeuchiThank you.13:51
