yurtesenHello, I have found a bug in `tomcat` package that exists in 21.10 and 22.04 which causes catalina.out log file not being rotated and growing forever. I would like to ask some opinions on what would be the correct way to fix it as thre are many ways this can be fixed. I am willing to produce a debdiff but having hard time getting any directions. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. 07:13
yurtesenHere is the bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomcat9/+bug/196488107:13

ducasseyurtesen: i'd ask in #ubuntu instead, this channel gets very little traffic - you might get more input there07:30
yurtesenthanks @ducasse , I will try.07:40
ducasseyurtesen: if you could quickly outline what options you see i can give you my input, but take that with a grain of salt07:41
yurtesenducasse: I have added something to the ticket, perhaps easier to read/follow there -> https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomcat9/+bug/1964881/comments/608:16
