[13:45] yes [13:45] weird [13:46] (cheese:178325): Gdk-WARNING **: 15:46:20.004: ../../../../../gdk/x11/gdkwindow-x11.c:5653 drawable is not a native X11 window [13:46] (cheese:178325): Clutter-CRITICAL **: 15:46:26.274: Unable to create dummy onscreen: No foreign surface, and wl_shell unsupported by the compositor [13:46] still getting these [13:50] I just enabled -proposed. 496 updates pending. Hopefully quite a few bugs will get fixed when they get released. [13:51] oof [13:51] had 266 this morning [13:51] I can believe it. I saw over 750 pending yesterday... [20:37] i looked up some of the features of 22.04 and didnt notice alot of difference from 20.04 but i thought i heard it was better with the tpm/secure boot and something to do with gpu's but i cant find anything on either [20:37] is there a difference involving either of those from 20.04 compared to 22.04? [20:54] en11gma: the graphics stack is updated, so you'll get better performance out of AMD/Intel GPUs [20:55] nvidia gpus (gross) depend mostly on the proprietary driver version [23:18] 22.04 beta looks solid, except for the firefox snap which still has serious unresolved issues dating all the way back to 21.10 release. What are the chances that the snap decision for Firefox will be reverted for final release, allowing an alternative "traditional" deb version, just like 21.10? [23:19] I can't see how these issues could be fixed before release, unfortunately. Drag/Drop, Access rights, stability issues etc. [23:40] I'm running 22.04 daily. I get a double login, different types. One I can disable by using the "auto login" in the gnome user config. Is this a known bug?
