=== cpaelzer_ is now known as cpaelzer === cascardo_ is now known as cascardo [14:23] I realize this may be an unusual question. Is there a way to determine the upstream kernel patch version a specific ubuntu kernel is based on? I realize this isn't a 100% reliable way to check for a certain upstream patch, but it's better than checking against x.y.0 [16:19] I am but a lurker here, but... I believe that the number of the Ubuntu release of a kernel is based on the kernel from the official repository, at the label listed in the package which is tagged at that revision. then patches that are approved bu the kernel team get applied. The kernel team _might_ include patches that are also on some revision of the kernel. these additions, however, are in the patch list included in t [16:19] ackage.
