[06:09] This is what I get for updating [06:48] Hi, does anyone know what kernel 5.15.0-25 maps to? Like an actual kernel version on kernel.org [06:49] I have no idea why Ubuntu has it's own kernel naming. Just to confuse people and laugh at them? [12:15] Because they backport features from newer versions, so the end result doesn't exactly map [12:24] Hi all [13:40] use it to visit store.kde.org, opendesktop.org and to DL Falkon web-browser (re @IrcsomeBot: then what is the use of firefox) [15:12] hi, brazil [16:35] hallo [16:38] :-) [16:39] ist kubuntu 22.04 schon benutzbar?! [16:39] !de | Guest39 [16:39] Guest39: In den meisten Ubuntu-Kanälen wird nur Englisch gesprochen. Für deutschsprachige Hilfe besuche bitte #ubuntu-de, #kubuntu-de, #edubuntu-de oder #ubuntu-at. Einfach "/join #ubuntu-de" eingeben. Danke für Dein Verständnis! [16:40] is kubutnu 22.04 already be usuable?! [16:40] or is it too unstable?! [16:41] as it is LTS, it is pretty stable [16:41] yes but its not released [16:41] so the question [16:41] like you asked in #xubuntu, same answer [16:42] thats true [16:42] you cabn help us testing, and report issues if you like [16:42] -b [16:42] thanks [16:42] i love UBUNTU COMMUNITY! [17:10] is there official Kubuntu/kde discord, since ubuntu discord is dumpster as always [17:10] millions of subchannels [18:10] the discord snap is official === Lord_of_Life_ is now known as Lord_of_Life [20:35] w [20:42] hey there! i'm trying to dual boot W11 and kubuntu off of the same M.2 NVME drive and I'm running into issues with secure boot I think? first time messing with linux distros so i'm kinda lost [20:43] do I need to make a separate EFI partition through the kubuntu installer? or is the existing one from windows sufficient? [20:56] ayarin: Not sure if they fixed it, but I remember that the ubuntu installer often ignored the efi partition selection and just installs itself into what ever it wants [20:56] but no, ubuntu doesn't need its own efi partition. But you should put one on every disk you want to boot off of anyway [21:05] okay! i'll try it again w/its own EFI part and see if that works ;_;
