[20:42] <ayarin> hey there! i'm trying to dual boot W11 and kubuntu off of the same M.2 NVME drive and I'm running into issues with secure boot I think? first time messing with linux distros so i'm kinda lost
[20:43] <ayarin> do I need to make a separate EFI partition through the kubuntu installer? or is the existing one from windows sufficient?
[20:56] <cbreak> ayarin: Not sure if they fixed it, but I remember that the ubuntu installer often ignored the efi partition selection and just installs itself into what ever it wants
[20:56] <cbreak> but no, ubuntu doesn't need its own efi partition. But you should put one on every disk you want to boot off of anyway
