[12:44] a user has reported that `firefox` won't load on Lubuntu 22.04 live session... ISO running from DVD drive (I wonder if it's snap daemon times out as DVDs are ultra-slow).. `ubuntu-bug firefox` can't run as it's a snap; how can bug be filed so we can explore what's going on? [14:09] the apport fix is already pending to point you to the same user as "snap info firefox" when calling ubuntu-bug [14:09] s/user/url/ (what am i typing ?!? [14:10] also try starting it from a terminal, that might give some hints about potential issues [21:33] When I remove the firefox snap right after a fresh installation of Ubuntu 22.04, the systems appears to become bricked. Here is a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYZPLpaRqy4 [21:36] I can reproduce the issue consistently by running these commands right after installation. During removal the screen becomes black and I'm thrown to the login screen. Then the apt and snap commands stop working properly. The /var/lib/dpkg/status file also disappears when removing the snap. [21:38] Guest1969, can you run "ubuntu-bug snapd" so it gets reported the rigt way (and logs get attached automatically etc) [21:39] and attach a link to the video in the bug too (like i said in #ubuntu 🙂 ) [21:40] Oh I misunderstood what you asked me to do. [21:41] no worries 🙂 [22:32] Too late for that, now it'll need an apport-collect. >_< [22:37] heh
