I'm a newish Budgie user of about 6 months, running 21.10 (Desktop 10.5.3-0ubuntu2) and have a sound problem. When I connect my Lenovo X1 Carbon (2nd gen, 2014) to its dock, the sound output is through my monitor -- regardless of what I select in Sound settings. 
[14:43] <paulbx> How might I troubleshoot this effectively?  Sound works fairly predictably when the machine is standalone.
