One needs to move the mouse to get the password promt visible. Is there a setting somewhere which would enable the old way of activating the password prompt via using any key on the keyboard? Images display in gwenview but upload as in pic above. Apparently the jpg's upload fine from Windoze! She has tried both Librewolf & Brave! What can I do for her to keep her on Linux? I press F2 on the image and click metadata, selecting Filemodifydate in ExifTool and get [meta:File.File.Image.FileModifyDate] added to my rename. This works great when just [date] is used but not for ExifTool.  I just want to rename a file to its modify date [18:49] (its the only date that still matches when the pic was taken) But the command in the DigiKam re-name is not working? however reading this data directly with exiftool does work exiftool -FileModifyDate "/Home/clearcoat/IMG.JPG" My DigiKam is version 7.6.0. If yours is diferent and it works then I will change to that version... or I will switch away [18:49] from my gaming comp and go launch digikey on my KDE system (avoided for image processing because its a tad slower.. etc) [18:51] what are you main distro that you`re using with kde? [18:52] I am using digikey with windows (my gaming PC at the moment) but have a Kubuntu laptop in the other room... none of my pictures are there so trickier to just go test but not by much (I will go get that now).
