mwhudsoncjwatson: do you know what the livecd-base or ubuntu-appliance projects are in ubuntu-cdimage?03:11
rbasakAny tips for what to work on on +1 maint?12:51
rbasakThe queues are so long that the excuses page doesn't seem useful12:51
rbasakhttp://qa.ubuntuwire.org/ftbfs/ seems to be on Jammy still?12:52
xnoxi'd say quite hard right now, because autopkgtest queues are so long, that even doing any sort of retries is pointless, as most are actually already scheduled and waiting to be run.13:12
xnoxmaybe merges? if merges.ubuntu.com is up to date?13:12
schopinLooking at the bottom report for MoM universe I see a Mon May 9 2022 mention near the top, so it should be reasonably up to date :)13:26
schopinSRU question: when verifying a bug, are we supposed to remove the verification-needed generic tag? The automated email only mentions the release-specific tags, and the wiki page says that the SRU team is the one that should change both the release-specific tag and the generic one.14:01
xnoxschopin:  i change tags from verification-needed/verification-needed-$release to verfication-done/verififcation-done-$release14:30
xnoxwith verfication-done if all releases are verifeid (in case of multiple releases)14:30
ginggsschopin: I believe any (with permissions) can remove the global/generic verification-needed tag once all the release-specific ones are done.  the wiki refers to a 'SRU verification team' which i don't believe is still active14:30
xnoxi don't know what is actually expected / right.14:30
ginggss/any/anybody/14:31
xnoxi have been doing too much boost/C++ so my google search results for anything C end up bringing up C++ documentation only..... what's the right way to search for C language docs?14:31
xnox(i am getting confused about interaction of static thread_local declarations and their scoping, and trying to find docs for C)14:32
rbasakschopin: I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I'm pretty sure that it's fine for you to change the tag. As long as it's accurate to do that for all series, of course. I'm not sure what effect the non-release-specific tag actually has, but I'm not aware of any process that would cause any issue to the SRU team for non-SRU people to do it.14:57
rbasakAnd it's always nice for everyone to collectively fix bug statuses and tags together :)14:57
rbasakPerhaps the docs need fixing if they don't reflect that.14:58
slingamni'm trying to understand more about this patch: https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-online-accounts/tree/debian/patches/0002-livepatch-auth.patch20:12
slingamnspecifically lpa_helper.py --- is the "SSO" system that it interoperates with the same thing as Ubuntu One?20:13
